From the moment we stepped into the courtyard garden we knew this VRBO house would exceed expectations. The view from the main room is so beautiful we considered skipping the hikes we had planned in ONP and instead sitting in one of the comfy chairs admiring the view of distant mountains and cruise ships passing by. Photos do not fully capture the dramatic views from the main area. The kitchen was well stocked and our host's advice NOT to purchase coffee filters but to use those left by others was spot on. Everything I needed to prepare meals for our family of four was available and plentiful. With a two week trip involving many locations, this home was our respite in the storm. As an avid gardener I would really enjoy working in the many deer-protected gardens on the side of the house, so if April ever needs a gardener friend she can reach out :)

This was one of the best VRBOs we have ever experienced. Spectacular views of the strait and across to Canada and the 5:30am sunrise. House was immaculate with lots of room…loved the double game rooms with pool and ping pong. Deer everywhere, backyard, front yard, eating the fruit right off the trees. A great base for our Olympic NP vacation, not far from the Port Angeles Visitor Center. Great communication by the owner as well. Highly recommend!

This property is beautiful. The views are spectacular!! The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. The furnishings are first class. And there is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax - from the deck, to the reading room, to the office, to the downstairs billiards room, and ping pong room! Very convenient to Port Angeles and also Hurricane Ridge and Lake Crescent. We also enjoyed day trips from here to Victoria (via the ferry) and Port Townsend. The highlight may have been an up-close visit from a bald eagle, who landed in a tree in the back yard on July 4! Plenty of deer sightings too. April was very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this property!

The house was nice and we enjoyed watching the hummingbirds flit about. The experience was a bit more stressful than it might have been because after booking, the owner sends a long, screechy "DO NOT" list and even pre-crabs at guests for things that other guests did. She was trying helpful in other ways, but I'd encourage a more welcoming tone.I also didn't realize at first that I'd be hit with a 3,000 damage deposit. Apparently, if you say no to the 89 insurance, you automatically pay the deposit. We got the deposit back, eventually, but not before my credit card statement closed, so I'll have to pay it and get a credit on next month's bill.I might have worried less about the deposit had the owner not been so harsh about damage on the front end.
