Although this was a shared arrangement with the owner, what a lovely and helpful person whom made you feel completely at home.

There was nothing I didn’t like

The location and the view from the apartment

It was advertised as parking available with additional cost. First and foremost I booked and paid this for the availability of parking as advertised. I asked help for the parking but was not accommodated so I paid quite a bit on the parking outside the premises.

Great views and the host made me feel welcome Closer to public transport Also enjoyed having a private bathroom

The location was okay, but if you need to eat, you will need to catch a tram back to the city, especially on a weekend when the coffee shops are shut. The room is a private room in a big residential building, so the owner is off site and the staff at the front desk were very helpful as we had trouble checking in. It has a nice view of Melbourne. We didn't use the pool, it looked nice.

The check in process, I didn't realise that until I had booked and paid that I then needed to do a Google document login, and then upload my photo ID, and then deposit a security deposit, (something I have never experienced with BOOKING.COM interstate or overseas before) the deposit took over 4 weeks to return after I had chased it up (booked and paid under different names) the check in experience was poor, the owner was busy and hadn't sent the details of the key box, there is only one key, so if you are a family it's not ideal as you need the key to lock the door when you leave.
