We were very impressed with this cabin. It was a perfect space for two people. The stairs going up to the bedroom were easily negotiable, not too steep, with good handrails all the way up. The whole space was clean and well thought-out. We especially appreciated all the towel racks and hooks in the bathroom! Trees surround the cabin but there is still a view to Lake Champlain and a little overlook that makes the perfect spot to sit in your camp chair and watch the sunset. We had fun watching the ferry come and go each day. There was a great crested flycatcher that serenaded us every day. This location is the perfect home base from which to do some day adventures, or just sit and soak up the lake's beauty. Our host was terrific. As we were arriving, he came out to meet us in the dusk and pouring rain to make sure that we found the right driveway. We had a slight problem with the water that first night and he came right down to fix it. He shared great stories about the history of the land and his family. Wonderful vacation spot!

Beautiful little cabin on Lake Champlain, perfect for.my wife and I while we visited our daughter for graduation at UVM. We met Glen, our host, a very gracious individual.The cabin had everything we needed. We were happy to retreat from the busyness of the city. We brought our paddleboards so got out on the water daily. It was all lovely. Would definitely stay again if we have reason to go there.

We had a great stay! The cabin was small but very cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t very good during our trip, but we would definitely love to come back when it’s warmer to enjoy the area even more.

The place was clean and had everything needed to relax and also the ability to cook. It’s a really beautiful location, accurate to the description. We enjoyed our stay and would book again. It’s a great place to unplug and it was only about 30 minutes to Burlington and many great hiking locations. Host is responsive and helpful.
