Had a fantastic overnight stay and the entire experience was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful. I would certainly stay here again

We had a pleasant stay at Center Parcs Het Heijderbos. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very nice. Everything felt comfortable and well maintained. It was also great that there was a fridge in the room — very convenient during our stay. There were a few small things missing, though. There was no ironing facility to iron clothes, no complimentary water, no minibar, and no shower cap provided. These are small details, but they would have made the stay even better. Overall, we enjoyed our stay thanks to the clean and spacious room.

Our stay at Center Parcs Het Heijderbos had both positive and negative aspects. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The facilities in the park are nice and well maintained. However, our experience at breakfast was very disappointing. The night before, we had a 2.5-hour drive and arrived very tired. The next morning, my family went to breakfast around 11:00, and I arrived around 11:25–11:30. An older lady with short hair (possibly a team leader) approached us and said they were closing at 11:30. Being charged was not the issue — I completely understand closing times and rules. What was upsetting was the way she spoke to us. Her tone was rude and aggressive. Even after I politely apologized for arriving late and explained we were exhausted from traveling, she continued speaking to us in an unkind and confrontational way. Later, when we were getting tea, she approached us again and raised her voice, repeating that she had already told us they were closing. The situation felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. The staff were also arguing with each other in front of guests, which did not feel professional. Additionally: The food at the pool restaurant lacked taste. Upon arrival, there is very little guidance on where to go. There are no phones in the rooms and no clear reception area to ask questions. After 9 PM, the gate closes, and you have to walk 10–15 minutes to reach your bungalow. There was no visible security inside the park, which felt unsettling. While the facilities are nice and the rooms are clean, the service — especially the way we were treated at breakfast — left a negative impression.

I had booked the property, and then while I went to paying THE PRICE CHANGED and I had no way to go back. It got HIGHER BECAUSE I USED IT AS A SINGLE PERSON, WHEREAS THAT IS RIDICULOUS AS AS A SINGLE PERSON I ONLY USE ONE BREAKFAST so as a single person I am cheaper for the organisation. I have called them. They blamed booking.com
