Hisar Holiday Club

I liked the size of the family room and it was spotless. The breakfast was good. The cleaners were excellent and went the extra mile. The pool area was nice. The manager and reception staff were helpful generally. A great location with everything on your doorstep.

The holiday was advertised with 'air conditioned rooms', but you have to pay £7.50 per day and pay up front to obtain the remote control to use it. They wanted cash only for this. I showed them the receipt showing 'air conditioned rooms' and the response was 'take it up with Booking.com, it isn't included'. They said if I'd booked direct with them the aircon would have been included. Sunbeds were covered in towels every day, some days we were lucky to get 2 beds together, other days we went to another hotel where they didn't allow guests to reserve beds. The hotel offers a discount to guests if they eat in their restaurant - not at lunchtime they don't, and the food wasn't great, and was pricey for simple basic things so we didn't eat there again when there were more comprehensive menus elsewhere. I stayed there in July in a Bungalow room by the pool and could hear no noise from the strip. Last week we stayed in a family room in a separate building in the car park - and it was very noisy until 2am, take your ear plugs! My husband would not like to return there again, but I would if it was a Bungalow room as my friends that came in July with me loved it.

No wifi in the rooms. Only reception and bar had wifi. There were no staff even to help us with the luggage during checkin & checkout. We had to carry it ourselves. The beach access was mentioned free while booking, but they said it costed 75 tl per head.
