Beautiful outlook onto the sea from both living room and kitchen, little shaded back terrace, and lovely traditional-style furnishings. Absolutely everything you could need.

Keys were a little tricky at first but we quickly got used to them. This is not related to the property but to all Ortigia while we were there - we had a water outage, so no water or low pressure on and off for a couple of days. We took this as just something that happens in Sicily, and our hosts were very kind and supportive throughout, despite the fact that it was no fault of their own.

Just a 5 minute walk from the public parking (Talete) that avoids the ZTL restricted zone. The apartment has a great location, overlooking the sea and is easy walking distance to all the sights and restaurants of Ortigia. It has a traditional Italian decoration and furnishings style and is so spacious that it felt like a home instead of a holiday let. Very well equipped and very clean. It has good air conditioning but It was also easy to get a gentle sea breeze through the apartment by opening the doors onto the balconies and terrace. It has a rear terrace and two balconies at the front, giving beautiful sea views and sunrises. We had good communication with the owner who responded quickly. Bottled water and some nice treats were gifted. We stayed for 5 nights and didn't want to leave! Highly recommended.

Everything was great, but whilst it was fine for us, there are around 30 steps up to the apartment. Great for views, not so good for luggage.

Brilliant accomodation, nothing to fault, an absolute gem in Ortigia. Huge apartment, great facilities, views which take your breath away. We absolutely loved the location which is so close to the public car park, market, swimming spot, restaurants, boat tours…

Camilla Suite is a wonderful one bedroom apartment on the lungomare of Ortigia. The spacious rooms are beautifully restored and stylishly furnished with comfortable sofas, chairs and bed. The highlight of the apartment are the floor to ceiling windows facing the sea in the living room and kitchen, complemented by the courtyard patio, providing gorgeous views and cool breezes throughout the day. The air conditioning works very well, as does the wifi. The full kitchen is a great feature. Our amazing hostess went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and went out of her way to help us access health care with a medical issue. The apartment is located on the quieter side of the island, so no worries about noise from late night bars. It’s a short walk to the market and the piazzas, and the whole island is easily walkable. A bus stop for the city bus that circles the island and stops at the main stations is right across the road, making public transit easy to use as well. (The apartment is up a flight of stairs, a consideration for those with mobility issues, but I was able to manage them despite a broken foot.)
