San Salvatore

We had a fantastic holiday. The room had a lovely balcony overlooking the sea, harbour and Cameo Island. Exactly as the photographs. Thank you to the lovely lady who cleaned the room, it was spotless. Taverna and Beach Bar very close by although we prefered El Greco and my favourite Aperitto Resto Bar on the edge of the sea with a gorgeous view and great food.

Nothing to dislike. I didn't want to come home :)

Fantastic location a stones throw from cameo island where we were attending a wedding, also access to the port for boat trips etc shops restaurants and bars right next door.

It was ok for us though anyone with any physical disability wouldn't be able to manage all the steps. As it was a last minute booking we had to move rooms after the second nite the first room was fantastic the second stank of damp.

Incredible location, literally under a minute from the beach. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy upon arrival. There was coffee pods, anti mosquito plugs and burners, multiple towels, TV, body wash and shampoo, hair dryer, AC and probably other stuff im missing. The service and Alex were incredible. He always replied to our queries within 30 minutes and sorted them out immediately! We were greeted with kindness and super useful info. Basically zero complaints

There were very few issues. The room we were in had no sunlight but that was entirely due to our choice, just something to be wary of. There still a fair amount of mosquitoes inside which we cleared with a broom, but again, not a big deal.

Stunning view from the balcony. As we visited at the very end of holiday season, it was very quiet and peaceful. Even though the beach was very littered with debris, we took long walks to the little harbour.

Even following Google Maps, it was very difficult at night to find the location. The Villa signs are very bad, with green words on a brown piece of wood, almost hidden from view. Very narrow and few parking spaces. Not easily accessible for older people, due to many stairs. Had to struggle with heavy luggage up and down many stairs. No shower facility in bathroom. It took a very long time for the water to heat up and one day we had no hot water. Very old TV. Could not connect my laptop wirelessly. They provided me a HDMI cable though. Appreciated the support! We were pestered by hornets and had to move inside some times. The fly screen to the balcony broke and even after reporting, it was not fixed.
