Very calm and relaxing. We were met by a couple of deer racing ahead of us as we arrived along the beautiful long tree lined alley. We stayed in the Annexe - a small cottage about 50 metres from the chateau. Completely secluded and very spacious inside. The weather was lovely so we enjoyed the large private patio in the back garden - complete privacy.. Wow!
VERY comfortable bed! The hosts were very friendly and we enjoyed a fabulous dinner in the main château! An extremely enjoyable stay - we will come back again to stay for a few days

Returning to the Chateau again this year we found it to be good again, a little shabby on the exterior, but inside it is fine. Beautiful large bedroom with en-suite and balcony and very comfortable and huge bed.
The breakfast was fine and the evening meal good but we would have preferred a choice of main course. The wine was, however, good and the price of dining was fair for the quality.

The main building was impressive, and the entry down the tree lined road was nice. Our room in le cottage was private and had a nice garden.
Had to pay in cash which we didn’t expect so had to nip out to an ATM which isn’t that big of a deal, the room was very basic and a bit dated granted it is an old building but inside doesn’t have to be so basic. Breakfast was very basic and a bit disappointing. Breakfast outdoors would have been nice perhaps to add more of atmosphere. In our opinion, our stay here seems a bit overpriced for what it was. Basic but in a nice setting.
