Perfect location. Host was friendly and welcoming. Beautiful property. Comfortable bed, aircon and nice balcony. Great that body wash and shampoo is provided.
Some basic facilities lacked, but nothing we couldn’t work around.
Main bedroom light didn’t work unfortunately so we used head torch.
Sufficient toilet paper for the duration of stay would be helpful.
Parking is actually offsite street parking which is fine but just should be listed accordingly.
Washing cost 10€ which we felt was a little expensive (however it was a fast service, washed and dried within hours.) As host doesn’t speak English, perhaps a list available to guests with cost of extra add ons would be beneficial.

Comfy bed, sufficient facilities. People who took care of the guests were nice.
Slight odor in the bathroom.

We stayed in the en-suite to start with which is lovely and my kids could play outside. My daughter was sick on the day we were supposed to leave so we had to stay an extra night so we were moved to upstairs. This was a room with a nice balcony and view but a big difference.

Host was helpful, flexible, quick to respond and offered a great suggestion for rafting nearby. Facilities were decent, very close to town but in a peaceful, parking spot, guest house was cute.
A bat flew down the chimney in the middle of the night, leading to the most harrowing two hours we've ever spent trying to shew it out of the room without it flying into either mine or my partner's head. Felt like something out of a horror film and all we could hear was it flapping about above us which is not what you want at 4/5/6 in the morning (or any time really).
Not really the owner's fault at all, sheer bad luck, but it was terrifying and maybe a grid or something could be put up the chimney to stop things from coming down it?
