We are avid VRBO renters and this property is absolutely stunning. Loved that we could bring our dogs too! It is a mountain and lake paradise. Immaculately clean, plenty of space, and more amenities and stocked items in any experience ever renting. Highly recommend. The owner communicates incredibly quickly and effectively. Will definitely stay here again.

What a perfect New Years week. We hiked, played board games, cozied up with movies and made gourmet meals. Simply have no complaints. We knew it was a remote location and planned accordingly and sticking close to the house is just what we needed anyways. Beds were comfortable, the two living spaces were fantastic for our big bunch, porches were great for hot coffee and slow mornings with a view. Lots of movies, games and a stocked kitchen for our group of 12. Book it already!

The house was spotless at check in. Garrett communicated often & provided a great check in, map & check out file. The house was perfect for our large family (mom/dad) 3 adult children, spouses & granddaughter. The porches are oerfect for gathering & the house is heavily stocked with kitchen items; fridge & freezer space. Beds are comfortable & lines provided are quality! Great fire pit area for smores! The lake was extremely low (mother nature for you) and the trek to the dock & back to house is not for people with heart conditions or in poor health. We managed a trip a day & that was enough for us. Home is very well maintained & we were more than happy with it. Area is very remote & I'm glad we took all food items with us! Late fall is beautiful in nc mountains & we just missed peak leaf season. The weather could not have been more perfect for our weekend. It forced us to slow down for a few days & enjoy time with family.

Easy check-in, great kitchen. We appreciated the extensive DVD collection on one particularly rainy day! Thanks for accommodating our dogs!!
