BON Tokyo Asakusa

The location was exceptional, you could see SkyTree from the balcony! A very close walk to the main area of Asakusa and to SkyTree with an underground station close by.

We stayed at BON Tokyo Asakusa for a full week, and overall, we had a wonderful experience. I’m not entirely sure why there are some negative reviews, but as a family travelling with a young child, we found this place to be an excellent choice and great value for money. One of the biggest advantages of staying here is the fully equipped kitchen. Since we were travelling with our child, being able to prepare homemade meals for him before heading out to explore Tokyo was extremely convenient. The room has a refrigerator, microwave, and kitchen facilities, making it much easier to manage meals and snacks while travelling as a family. Having a washing machine in the room was another huge plus, especially during a week-long stay. The room itself is a decent size and provides enough space to stay comfortably and organize your belongings. There is also a closet for storing clothes and luggage, which is particularly useful when travelling with a family. Another thing we appreciated was the hardwood flooring. Compared with carpeted hotel rooms, hardwood floors feel cleaner and may be preferable for guests who are sensitive to dust or certain allergens. We also enjoyed the lovely view and the morning sunlight coming into the small dining area. Having breakfast together in the morning with natural sunlight streaming through the windows was a simple but lovely way to start our day before heading out to explore Tokyo. The location is another major advantage. The property is within comfortable walking distance of the local train station and Senso-ji Temple, making it convenient for sightseeing and exploring the Asakusa area. There are plenty of opportunities to experience the local neighbourhood, and we found the location very practical for our stay. The front desk staff were accommodating and helpful, which made our experience even better.

Staff no very helpful, struggles to get them to help booking a taxi. Beds were a bit small, I would say not a full queen size, so small for 2 adults
