Beautiful homestay in Gijorkaster with a lovely view. Reachable by car with parking on site. Small and steep road to get there, which might be difficult for some drivers, however we got there fine with our suv. About 20 min walk from the castle and bazar up and down some hills. Beautiful garden, very comfortable bed, we would love to come again!

Beautifully laid out outside spaces. Secure cycle parking. Easy access to hosts. Beautiful outlook. good modern facilities. Spacious.

Long way up from the valley floor (on bicycles)

We stayed 3 nights and had a great stay. The hostess was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was exceptional and with such a lovely view. The balcony of the room.also had a wonderful view and was a peaceful place to hang out when not in town. I appreciated the decor, tastefully done with a little bit of tradition. It is further out of town, but the walk is easy enough (cut through the castle via the tunnel so its about 20mins) but not ideal if youre not able to walk a decent distance as there is some incline.. Being in the old town but not in the hub meant it was quiet at night and youre really in a pretty neighbourhood rather than a tourist trap. Parking was included and easy. The aircon was.quiet and there was a mini fridge to keep our drinks chilled. All of this means the value for money was outstanding.

- it’s a bit challenging to get up the hill to the guesthouse with a small rental car (we had a fiat punto)
