​Traveling entirely on my own, I couldn't have asked for a more welcoming and seamless experience. The atmosphere is wonderfully family-like, and Steven went completely above and beyond—ensuring I had smooth transportation right from the bus station and organizing all my transport when it was time to leave. ​To top it all off, I had dinner at home, enjoying quite literally the best home-cooked food in the world. Located right in the mountains of Lushoto, it is the absolute perfect base for exploring the stunning Magamba Forest and the Irente viewpoint. Every single detail was effortless, making this an easy 10/10 recommendation!

It was lovely and scenic, very peaceful. The host family were lovely and there was plenty of food. My room was small but lovely, clean and comfortable. You have a toilet too.

The food was a little pricey at £7 and there's no sink in your room. It's a steep hill up and a steep bit going down to the property for a few minutes, so not advisable if you have mobility issues.

Steve and his wife Moana are great Hosts. The atmosphere was lovely! They are always really welcoming. The Room is small but absolutely fine for two people. We had the best food so far in Tansania, prepared by Moana! Wow that was amazing. Steve also offered a ride early in the Morning to the Bus stand, so that we could catch our Bus back to Moshi.

There is still in wifi, but a few days offline also dont hurt.

The host helped us out with different situations but we felt that he crossed some boundries regarding our privacy. And it was more expensive then we were used to.
