We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It’s across the street from the train station and Peña Palace bus stop. It’s also walking distance to the city center where there are a lot of restaurants. The room was clean and nicely decorated. Even though it’s close to the train station, it was quiet. I did not hear the train at all. The bathrooms are located across the hall from the rooms. There is a nice common area with a sofa and armchair. The owner Maria, was very sweet. We felt like royalty with the elaborate breakfast she prepared. It was dazzling and felt luxurious - granola, an assortment of breads, yogurt, tea, coffee, meats, cheeses and even pastel de nata and a little mint to finish. We were also able to leave our bags there after check out.

It was hard to find, we spent a while looking for it even though we knew it was near the hamburger restaurant. It is located down a flight of stairs and the sign is very hard to see. To check in, go down an additional flight of stairs to the door with the welcome sign.

Staff was very nice; room location was great.

Bathroom was outside the room; it was private but you had to go outside your room to go there.
