HYVE Jerusalem hosted by STAY

Good value for money during Sukkoth.

The kitchen facilities were very limited during the first few days, they improved significantly during my stay. The main issue was drinking water: The only place was by the reception, having to walk downstairs for water was inconvenient. The electronic key to the room stopped working 2 or 3 times during my stay, but the reception guys solved the problem quickly every time. The 2 refrigerators were insufficient for the large number of guests, I thought my food had disappeared among the mess until it suddenly resurfaced a few days later.

It’s in a central place in Jerusalem. There is some construction work right outside the hostel but I wasn’t bothered by it. Overall nice facilities , theres a nice roof where u can sit , and a large kitchen as well as a towel and soap provided .

The room was not clean at all . The floor was filled with large dust bunnies , very dusty room. It looks like it wasn’t cleaned for some time . I think management should really take this seriously.

It was a buffet breakfast and the variety was Middle Eastern mixed with some European breakfast which made it an excellent hostel food, even or Hôtel Standards

Great location of the hostel. The bed mattress was of good quality (only too small for me). Helpful and friendly staff!

The hostel was out of shape because of the pandemic and subsequently the war in the previous years. Basic quality suffered because of it. In the last week during my stay I could see improvements being made and I have good hopes for the future.
