Wir reisten als Familie. ( 5 Erwachsene und 1 Kind). Die Untekunft bietet genug Raum und Platz für die Anzahl der möglichen Gäste. Der Garten ist sehr großzügig und hat ebenfalls genügend Sitzmöglichkeiten. Auf Anfrage bekamen wir sehr schnell und zuverlässig einen Grill zu Verfügung gestellt. Die Kommunikation war unkompliziert und freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Betten waren bequem und sauber. Reinigungsmittel standen ebenfalls zu Verfügung. Auch die kostenlose Benutzung der Waschmaschine und des Trockners sind positiv hervorzuheben.
Die Sauberkeit ließ bei der Ankunft leider sehr zu wünschen übrig. Der Kühlschrank war nicht gereinigt und die Bäder und das Gäste-WC weisten in vielerlei Hinsicht, Spuren von den Vorgängern auf. Die Duschmatte war verschimmelt und auch hier waren Haare und andere Dinge von den Vorgängern zu sehen. Die Ablage für das Duschgel war durch braune "Spuren" gekennzeichnet. Leider musste wir vor der Benutzung die Bäder reinigen.

House was spacious with very good facilities. Beds were very comfortable. Having 3 toilets was good. Location very good - not far to a local shop and Dublin/Sligo road. Would definitely book again.
The wooden flooring must have been cleaned just before our arrival. Unfortunately, the smell of the cleaner/polish was overwhelming as you stepped through the door. The smell was so unusually strong that it felt like we could taste it e.g. when having a glass of water. Luckily, we spent very little time in the property. The smell did start to fade towards the end of the week but was still lingering on. Maybe a different product, or less of it, next time flooring cleaned woukd solve the issue.

This was my 2nd stay in this house and I'm back in September we use it as a base for our fishing trips to toomans fishery which is only 12min away the area is very nice and a neighbour we spoke to was pleasant the beds are very clean and comfortable having 3 guys staying its handy having 2 bathrooms plus downstairs toilet and wash hand basin we intend to use the house at least twice a year
The only things I can be negative about and its minor is in the ensuite bedroom the shower floor is plastic and very slippy I nearly had a fall needs a rubber mat next in the house is we didn't know which bins are for what to recycle as colours are different to home we didn't want to look like folk who didn't care about our rubbish apart from this the house is perfect for us

Lovely house in a quiet estate just on the outskirts of Rooskey, nice neighbours, and what a beautiful area it is, with plenty of dog walks. Beds were very comfortable. Garden was perfect for our dog, she had great fun exploring her surroundings. This was her first stay away from home. Co-host Eliza was very welcoming to speak to on the phone and told me to phone her if we needed anything, but we did not need to, as everything we needed was in the house. Thank you so much and we are looking forward to a return visit.
