Penzion Termal

We had a very pleasant stay at Boutique Hotel Vila Efekt. The hotel features a great location, just a convenient 5-minute drive from the center. It offers a lovely boutique atmosphere with a high standard of cleanliness, though the rooms themselves felt a bit dated (nothing critical) and were missing a mini-fridge as well as a coffee and tea station. On arrival, we noticed that the reception is actually located through the restaurant—it’s a bit confusing at first, but nothing too critical once you figure it out. One of the true highlights was the breakfast—it was simply excellent, offering a great variety of delicious options to start the day. The staff was generally friendly, though we noticed that some team members struggled with English, making communication a bit challenging at times. Additionally, there was a strange issue with the air conditioning: even though each room has its unit, the controls seemed linked or managed from the reception/restaurant area, making individual adjustments inconvenient. Overall, it is a comfortable and solid 4-star experience, but adding a fridge and coffee/tea facilities to the rooms, along with addressing these small operational details, would make it much better.

Śniadanie bardzo dobre, urozmaicone. Dobre wyposażenie pokoju. Idealna czystość. Dużo bezpłatnych miejsc parkingowych. Bardzo przyjazny personel.

Lokalizacja średnia, bo dla osób starszych dosyć trudne piesze dotarcie do centrum, praktycznie brak chodników i przejść dla pieszych. W obiekcie chociaż jest restauracja, to w niedzielę nieczynna.

Fajny hotel. Wygodne łóżka, fajna sofa. Duża łazienka. Na balkonie zestaw ogrodowy - krzesła, stolik. Cicho, ładny widok z okna. Duży wybór na śniadaniach i ogólnie pyszne śniadania. Parking w cenie pobytu. Klimatyzacja w pokoju.

Dość daleko od zamku ale można się przejsc drogą pod górkę przez park. Zajmuje to jakieś 20 - 25 minut.

Breakfast was fine, and the location is very good. Near the castle Bojnice and beside the spa. Nice facilities.

There was renovation in progress while I was there. The noise and disturbance were considerable; however, no discount was offered. If I had known in advance, I would not have booked a room there in that time frame. What else? My room had visible space above the door and frame while the doors were closed and locked. So virtually no privacy, because every noise from the room you could hear in the hallway, and in the opposite direction too.
