Casamediterranea

Platsen är helt unik och enastående vacker på höga kullar bakom Sperlonga. Kort biltur till fantastiska stränder och till stan och underbart att köra genom naturen fram till hotellet. Lugn och harmonisk miljö i slutet av säsongen. Bra sängar, enkla rum, men välstädat och fräscht. Maten vällagad och frukosten bra, men hade kunnat ha ett till färskt bröd.

Lyhört, men med hänsynsfulla gäster var det inget som störde.

Wir waren eine Woche im Casamediterranea und hatten eine wunderbare Zeit. Die Hotelanlage liegt mitten in den Bergen in der Nähe von Sperlonga und hat alles, was es für einen kleinen Urlaub braucht. Alles ist mit Liebe eingerichtet und bietet trotz einiger Zimmer und Unterkünfte genug Ruhe und Entspannung für jeden. Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit Blick über den Pool und die Berge ist ein Traum. Abends kann man im Restaurant essen und alles wirkt sehr authentisch und persönlich.

The location has a great view: it is a bit more than 10 min away from Sperlonga and one can enjoy a nice panorama on the surrounding hills and sea. The common areas are well kept and good looking. The room was nice, although the door didn't close completely (a small draft was passing through). However the air conditioning was good enough to compensate. We couldn't try the restaurant as it was closed nor the swimming pool: I guess it's still too early in the season for both.

The shower gave us some troubles: on the first day it took a long time to have hot water, and it lasted for a very short time. After that it became abruptly cold again. We had to wait to be able to do a second one. The second day we tried to use the shower again after dinner but we had no hot water at all. Since more people (in other rooms) were around compared to the first day, we thought it was just a momentary issue and waited for the next day but we had no luck. At breakfast we explained the situation to the staff and they told us they already knew and were working to fix the problem. Unfortunately, they couldn't so they offered us to go to another room. It's nothing dramatic, of course: something can go wrong from time to time. Considering the price we paid, it was a bit unpleasant, though.
