The front door was hard to use

Having two distinct sleeping quarters and living quarters, one downstairs and one upstairs, was perfect for my 90 year old mother and I to spend quality time together with our own spaces. Being dog friendly, we could bring our dogs along on the holiday too. The home was well located, close to the beach and township. The property was perfect for our needs.

We were happy with all facilities at this property. We will be back.

Perfect house, clean, had all the required amenities, furniture, comfort required, fantastic value for money and awesome laid back home with great view. Worth every dollar. Lisa the property manager from great escapes was one off the best reps you could ever have. Such a legend.

That dam front door was such a pain to lock up. U felt secure at least.

I loved the location and the beach views. The master bed was super comfy and I could bring my dog!

The spider webs on the balcony hadn’t been cleaned for months and months, you could not lean on the balcony and it made the area look unkempt. We had to pay for a cleaning service as part of the price but were sent an email on our last day requesting us to leave the property in the same condition we arrived in, which is steep when you consider it was nearly 500 a night for one adult and two children. The cleaning supplies were also very sparse, no disinfectant and no paper towels to clean the BBQ. One thing I was very concerned about was a message sent to me upon departure asking what had happened to the downstairs mirror.. I grilled the children, wrote a message back asking for more information, did not receive a response, sent a follow up email asking what she meant by the message, also did not receive a response and to be honest it left a bad taste in my mouth. It was very accusatory and without any justification. I would highly recommend taking a video of the property before checking out. Needless to say apparently nothing happened to the mirror because I haven’t received a response nor an apology since the initial message on Tuesday. I have had much better experiences at other properties in Apollo Bay and would recommend somewhere else.
