Nothing it’s was a nice place

I love the location of the hotel right accross from the beach. The hotel was very clean, the room was exceptionally clean, they provided me with a lot of towels everyday during my 4 days stay there. The icing on the cake was the staff. The staff was excellent. The service desk was extremely accommodating . The service staff on ocean drive outside of the hotel was outstanding. These young women and men worked very hard in the burning sun to please guests. The valet staff was also excellent.

I would stay the quality of the food. Typical American fry food. The continental breakfast should be better. The continental breakfast consist of Two pieces of white bread, choice of coffee or orange juice not both, eggs that are completely tasteless, a very small croissant not freshly made a small fruit salad and the fruit is cut extremely small. I had an avocado toast. It was not fresh cut avocado. It was a dark avocado paste that seemed to have been expired on a burn toast bread. Hotel management need to reevaluate what they serve to their guests. They should go to La Vie Belle Cafe and Boutique and to Macchialina Taverna Rustica to taste their food and see what they serve. That is their competition. Sorry to say, the hotel food may never get there.

The pools and the staff were great, also the room I eventuly got was superb in terms of quality and views from the room.

I paid for a decent room, since I was staying there for a few days on business before my friends arrived in Miami. I arrived late and the room was nothing as descbribed, I complained at reception the next morning (never normally do) and was given the appropriate room I booked. Also there was no wi-fi in the hotel which is surprising in this day and age and disapointing on a business trip when needing to send emails. Also the breakfast was purely a continental option and anything else was chargeable, not a big issue but the uncooked breakfast took over an hour one day so I had to sack it off. Overall the hotel had many positives, but it just lets iteslf down in a few areas, the staff overall were great and friendly so can only assume it's a mangement issue.
