Ostello Bello Roma Colosseo

Nothing can beat the location of Bello Roma! I enjoyed the variety of events that they planned throughout the day, it really allows you to meet more people especially as a solo traveler. The common areas are nice, and they host some community events which were fun to check out. During my stay they hosted a "short film festival" featuring films with all local directors, and at the end of the show they did a question & answer with some of the actors who were in the films! Checking in and out was very simple. The luggage locker was spacious. The cleaning staff were all so friendly.

Mostly friendly staff. There was one bartender that seemed to be having a bad night, and he appeared outwardly annoyed any time we ordered drinks (even though the bar wasn't closed or busy). Just after midnight he unexpectedly closed the bar for about half an hour. The shower in my room had poor pressure and cold water, the drain was also clogged and would back up really quickly. My roommate notified maintenance but the issue persisted. The other shower in the bathroom next to us worked just fine, we just felt bad asking our neighbours to use it.

Amazing, comfortable room, the staff was really nice, there were activities in the evening that helps you get to know people and not ever be alone. The property is relatively easy to find like it’s on a side street but easy to find. There is a park next to the hostel which is in front of the colosseum. And they gave me a bottom bunk and lock for free when I booked the refundable stay which was amazing. The staff is again really nice it makes an amazing stay.

Location. I didn’t see too many non touristy cafes and restaurants In the area. There are in front of the colosseum though; which is very close by you can’t get lost going there. It’s not in the city center exactly so you have to walk or take a bus or taxi. But this wasn’t really important as much as other things for the stay!

Very nice location, close to major sites

Unfortunately when we checked into our private room (roughly $230 usd a night), there was urine everywhere in the bathroom. Seems to have not been cleaned up. Proceeding this, the towels that had soaked up said urine was not removed from bathroom.
