Flamingo Lodge

Lovely property for what we needed

Flamingo Lodge was perfect for my needs. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. The host was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. It was in the perfect location for my visit as it was right next to where I work.

Really clean and great decor. Accommodated our early check in request very helpfully at short notice. Very friendly staff. The room was ideal for sharing with a teenager who could have their own space. All great. Thank you.

Nothing

The room was nicely decorated. Our host was very friendly. Keypad door locks are great.

The curtains did not meet and there is a streetlight outside the room. I was awake for most of the night due to the light pollution. There is not sound proofing. This is probably the noisiest guest house I have ever stayed in. We could hear the people in the next room and downstairs. Somebody was hammering downstairs before 8! The doors slam loudly. The water pressure to the hand basin is very poor with extremely slow flow. The shower head needs descaling. The shower tray is very slippery and I fell suffering bruising. There was no chocolate which was mentioned in the description !
