This was truly the most exceptional stay we have ever had, and we have travelled across the world to a number of continents and countries at a number of luxury accomodations. The staff are the most kind, humble, attentive and upbeat people who made our trip what it was. They are truly the biggest compliment to this lodge. The game drives were incredible, fun, thrilling and once in a lifetime and we felt so safe in our brilliant guides hands (Biggie) who was so kind, so knowledgeable and so experienced. He is the very best at what he does! The property is absolutely stunning and it is the special touches that go the longest way with your stay. The welcomes we would receive after each game drive with drinks, hot towels, drums, you name it, the boma dinner, the freshly filled drink bottles waiting in the car ready, the turn down and making up of your room twice a day, warm blankets and ponchos prepared for the game drive, the list goes on! A huge shout out to our bartender (Johannes) who was so exceptional and made the best cocktails and was so incredibly attentive. The food was also amazing, there was so much of it and it was all so tasty with multiple courses at every meal including morning tea and afternoon tea during game drives. We did not have one bad dish during our stay! We are truly just so grateful for the whole team at Mbazo/Dzombo. We can’t wait to come back, and our whole family are now planning their trips to Dzombo! Thankyou team.

Ensure guests are aware of game drive times prior to their stay so they can plan their arrival/flight time accordingly. This truly was an exceptional stay and a dream come true for us and incredible value for money.

Beautiful lodge, with very clean rooms and exquisite food; and plenty animals to see. We were greeted by elephants by the pool when we checked in and even when we left.

Clean, modern and well thought out. Staff are excellent, attentive and no request is too large. Game drivers are very knowledgeable.
