charming old building, spacious room with very tasty decor (rustic wood accents!) in the middle of a calm Schwarzwald village with plenty of walks starting right at the door.

the only inconvenience I had is related to work as this was my workation week and could have been a temporary thing. hotel has decent wifi coverage but this doesn't really serve much. switching to access point on mobile phone wasn't great either with internet being really slow and sometimes breaking. odd, if you think 5G mast is on the hill some 300m from the hotel, so it felt like I was in some anti-chakram for being online :) at the end of the day, it was just enough for work but not for pleasantries, which on workation week is probably a good thing
