This was my second visit to this desert camp. It was well managed and the cultural programmes well organised like last time. We were taken for an additional desert safari upon request as well. The room was clean and comfortable.

Staying at Helsinki House for the second time. The hotel was pretty, clean and comfortable. Short distance from locations in the city.
Staff was very courteous and friendly and people were always available to assist in any way. The suites are beautiful.

Evening entertainment was good. Rooms are clean and large equipped with a heater and an a.c. Hot water takes 20 mins after switching it on.
Staff at reception sell you a very expensive jeep safari “tour” which is not really a tour but a short transfer to a very crowded semi desert area where loads of local people are doing 5 min camel rides. Other locals try to sell you more tours with exorbitant prices. They are very pushy. Small kids try to get money from you and the driver just parks at one place until you get tired and ask to go back to the hotel. Also- at check out, they don’t charge the credit card on account but ask for cash.
