Antemurale - Luxury rooms,Plitvice Lakes

It has a fantastic location within walking distance to the park and they kindly let you leave your car there while you hike (even after you’ve checked out!). The beds were very comfortable and the restaurant was cozy and served very good food.

This hotel is really good value. Comfortable, clean with very friendly and helpful staff. Ideally situated for Plitvice Lakes. Good breakfast.

Location just 300 meters to Entrance 1 into Plitvice NP. Could leave car parked in their lot and go to park for the day. Very nice lodging. Restaurant onsite

Food seemed a bit pricey however location made up for it. Small bathroom. No elevator

The location is superb for someone who wants to visit the Plitvice Lakes National Park from Entrance 1. The place is in the woods, next to a few other similar properties. The room was fine, clean, modern and well-kept. The contact with the staff was good; they all have been professional and the lady in charge in the morning was very kind to help me find some ibuprofen to help me out with my sudden illness (I must have caught a cold with sour throat and wasn't feeling so well in the morning, when we needed to go visit the Park and then drive away to Trieste). I thank her for her assistance and for her smile.

Breakfast was buffet and I honestly felt it was overcharged, especially if you add it up to the room price. Dinner was good, though a bit pricey as well. Overall, I would have preferred a more traditional-style room, better prices (though I realize that the proximity of the place to such a great attraction plays its role in that) and a more "personal" contact/touch to feel that I am experiencing more the local way of living and getting to know the locals.
