Winmar Guesthouse

Fairly close to the city centre with supermarkets and restaurants close by. Facilities were excellent with a fully kitted kitchen, washing machine and dryer available. Room size was great albeit smelling a bit musty when we got back after a day out. Opening the windows sorted that out. Saying all of that i would stay there again as I felt it was value for money, compared to other accommodation in Inverness.

We stay for 4 nights and our room was never cleaned, cups, tea and coffee were never replenished. We made our own beds and emptied our own bin on a daily basis. We used the same towels for the duration of the stay. The fire alarm went off one night at midnight and we stood in the street until a staff member arrived to switch it off, was a false alarm. Wifi wasn't great but, but usable. We didn't have hot water one night, but received communication regarding possible electricity interruption that afternoon.

Lovely stay in Inverness at this guest house. Great communication beforehand regarding how to check in, done via whatsapp, and had no difficulties with this. The room was clean, big and a lovely stay. Great tea and coffee making facilities, nice TV and sofa and comfy bed. Bathroom was also clean and looked after. Parking was fine, about 5 cars can fit if everyone parks nicely so it keeps your car off the street which is nice. Only about 10 minutes walk from bars and restaurants and the city centre. Overall a fantastic stay for the money you pay and would use again in the future.

Room was a good size and bed really comfy, lovely hot shower. Kitchen facilities are good and self catering worked really well.

Shower room would benefit from a paint freshen up

Location - ten minutes walk from centre - is good; access was all easy; room was clean and comfortable; lovely bed.

Wifi was v slow - barely useable despite trying all variants. Whether it was having a go slow or whether it needs more speed I don't know.
