Beautiful location

An incredible stay! The rooms are very clean and have everything you need to cook for yourself or to wash clothes. The owner is very friendly and available for questions and tips. The access is via a single lane road, so there is a bit of a challenge if 2 cars meet but that never happened while we were there (5 nights). There are lot of animals on the farm, including a turtle, and this can be very interesting for children. The location is very dog friendly. We stayed with our large dog who loved it. The views are fantastic and the location is very quiet. It is close to Bled and Bohinj lakes. For Bled it might be better to use the train station nearby (with free parking) as a base. The skies, when clear, are dark enough that the Milky Way can be partially seen. We also saw some Perseids during our stay. There are also some walking paths that can be explored for even nicer views. Overall a great, restful stay.

The apartment was stunning and fully equipped with everything we needed, in a great location. Piter is a fantastic host who took care of everything for us—he even brought us food since we arrived late at night during a holiday when all the supermarkets were closed! The place was clean and spacious, and the kids had so much fun with all the animals outside, as well as the games and small playground in the yard. We didn't want to leave! Highly recommended!!

Our family stayed at Vaznik Farmhouse for 2 days, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable parts of our trip. We originally booked it because we thought the farm animals would keep the kids entertained for a few hours each day — but what we didn’t expect was to experience a true fairytale-like farm life in the middle of the forest. After arriving, we immediately went grocery shopping because we already knew we wouldn’t want to leave the farm the next day at all. And we were right. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and authentic, surrounded by nature and forest, yet only about 10 minutes from Bled. The kids absolutely loved spending time with the animals — feeding rabbits, chickens, turkeys and ducks, petting the horses, and watching the cows and goats. We took walks through the forest and discovered a little treehouse hidden on the property, which felt magical. There were also toy excavators and tractors, which were a lifesaver with a toddler, and our son even got the chance to see and touch a real excavator up close. The owner, Peter, was incredibly kind and welcoming. We also had the opportunity to buy homemade eggs and delicious homemade dry sausage from him, which made the whole experience feel even more authentic and special. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed, the accommodation was clean and comfortable, and we especially enjoyed having meals outside in the yard. If you want your children to experience real countryside life, surrounded by nature and forest, far from the noise and crowds, this place is absolutely worth visiting. Just make sure to buy groceries before arriving — once you get there, you truly won’t feel like leaving.
