Incredible Riad - stunning. Staff are amazing. Rooftop is great. Food is brilliant.

It's tricky to locate but essentially so is everything in Fes.

Beautifully restored Riad with rich history and intimate setting. A lot of effort went into bringing the home back to life with rich decor and impeccable restoration. Felt like staying at someone's home.

The street where the Riad is very dirty; this could be easily fixed by cleaning the stairs and repairing the nearby gate, which would provide direct access to the road/parking and save 15 minutes of travel time.

Dar Roumana was so beautiful. From the outside it looks like nothing, just a stone wall and wooden door. But once we went inside and saw the gorgeous courtyard that is 3 stories high with all that tile, marble and woodwork, we were amazed. Our room was beyond spacious and comfortable. The shower was huge and beautiful. The rooftop patio was so nice too. We spent a bit of time up there in the late evening when it was cooler. And the breakfast in the morning was so satisfying with eggs, fresh breads, preserves, coffee and tea. The riad is a little ways out from the main medina so at night you feel a little strange walking all the way back but we never felt unsafe or anything. The parking lot isn't very far and they call someonw to come help with your bags. We would highly recommend Dar Roumana.

The riad is amazing, stuff was super kind and helpful! They also organised a tour with guide for us! The room and breakfast are also very nice, position is optimal to visit the medina!

We heard noise during night because of dogs barking and people working outside. If you are sensitive bring some earplugs!
