Excellent location on the Main Street of Long Melford. Free roadside parking pubs bakeries and other shops a few yards away allow the flat
Stairs very steep, no toilet downstairs, kitchen fairly small.
Lounge furniture very low for sitting

Ideally placed in the middle of Long Melford, 3 Chestnut Terrace is a cosy, well equipped and furnished cottage. Beautifully clean and the generous welcome basket was very much enjoyed and appreciated.
The two armchairs, in the living room, were not very comfortable. You could neither recline nor sit comfortably in them. The shower on the first floor seemed rather temperamental - the temperature control didn’t seem to work. Also, instructions re the waste bins and what to do before leaving were not in the property file.

Perfect location in the heart of Long Melford, ideal for exploring the area with wonderful array of traditional shops and pubs. Great for those who enjoy the countryside with lovely walks by the river.

Convenient location in the beautiful village of Long Melford. The property is truly dog-friendly, and the treats (and all important poop bags!) were really appreciated. Strong water pressure in both showers. Very comfortable beds, and the bed linen was of good quality.
Bathrooms would have benefited from a more rigorous clean.
