Stayed for a short one night before a hike. Quite a new place. Very kind person watching over the place. Nuwan is respectful and helpful. So worth the money. Two cute dogs from the next-door property may bark, but just talk to them kindly and move on :)

The bathroom sink water outlet is leaking into the bathing area. It's no big deal-but hope they fix it soon. Other thing is the steeeep climb to get to the hotel. If walking, this feels a bit.

An overall great experience, total value for money .It was exactly what one could ask for in a hotel room, clean , spacious, and ofcourse safe. would totally recommend this place in budget.

Nice room and clean

The young caretaker was always polite and friendly and I liked him. The hotel was modern, clean and in a close location to shops and restaurants.

The caretaker was chalming and friendly but didn't always give us our privacy as he spent too much time around the guests rooms. He was also a bit too friendly with pricing for tours and transport around Ella. Maybe not his fault, likely under instruction from his employer to maximise profit. When we paid for hotel, they had no electronic payment available nor any change available to pay in cash. I was very angry Id have to go back down street to buy something in order to have the correct money to pay hotel. So unprofessional. Once there was no hot water for showering. There was always an older man lurking around the hotel talking in Sinhalese to the young caretaker but not an employee. Suspicious. Some ongoing construction close to hotel. Not too noisy, just unsightly and a messy shared driveway .
