A fantastic place in the very heart of Old Cairo. It is definitely worth taking the time to learn about the history of this place, which is truly phenomenal. Our stay was absolutely wonderful - we felt like members of the family and close friends from the very beginning. Everyone took care of us from the moment we walked through the door. The rooms are comfortable and exceptionally clean, and the beds really allow you to get a good night’s rest. The air conditioning works perfectly. The hotel also has a craft workshop where you can watch local artisans at work, as well as a small museum showcasing the history of the region. A lot has already been said about Mariam and her wonderful relationship with the guests - and we can absolutely confirm it. :) However, we also had the great pleasure of meeting Mohamed - an open, constantly smiling and incredibly personable young man who showed us endless kindness and professionalism and was always there to support us whenever we needed anything. This place is, above all, about wonderful people - every single one of them, without exception, even though it would be impossible to mention everyone by name. Staying here is another dimension of experiencing Cairo. For me, it is absolutely not to be missed. And it is a place worth coming back to, because once you leave, you genuinely miss it 💕
