Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit und haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, gemütlich und mit unglaublich viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet. Tatsächlich war es das bisher bestausgestattete Ferienhaus, das wir je gebucht haben. Es war wirklich alles da, was man sich wünschen kann. Besonders nach der Anreise mit Kindern haben wir uns über den herzlichen Empfang und die kalten Getränke im Kühlschrank gefreut. Auch Sonnenschirm und Stühle für den Strand durften wir unkompliziert mitnehmen – solche kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten machen einfach einen Unterschied. Die Lage hat uns ebenfalls sehr gut gefallen. Etwas abseits vom Trubel. Es gibt viele schöne Naturstrände in der Umgebung und direkt vor der Tür einen kleinen Wanderweg entlang der Klippen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auf Fragen wurde immer sofort geantwortet, gleichzeitig hatten wir die ganze Zeit über unsere Privatsphäre. Am Abreisetag hatten wir dann sogar noch die Gelegenheit, die Besitzerin persönlich kennenzulernen – eine wirklich sympathische und herzliche Begegnung. Man merkt, dass hier viel Wert darauf gelegt wird, dass sich die Gäste wohlfühlen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden definitiv wiederkommen.

The house is authentic and cosy with a lovely rustic touch, and the spacious yard lets you enjoy the scent of the pines while dining outdoors. It is equipped with literally everything you could think of—even things we’ve considered buying for our own home but never did! We were welcomed with the most delicious almond biscuits and so many thoughtful little perks that instantly brought a smile to our faces. The location is peaceful yet close to the beach and the trekking trail between Sani Club and Simantro Beach, which is pure postcard scenery and a reminder of everything beautiful about Sani. The beach itself still holds a place in my personal top 3 for Chalkidiki after 30 years. Best of all, our highly energetic toddlers seemed to sync with nature, becoming calm and content—which allowed us, as parents, to fully enjoy our vacation.

Honestly, I had no real complaints during my stay and it was actually difficult to think of something I didn’t like. The only small detail is that the Wi-Fi was sometimes a bit unstable and might not be sufficient if someone plans to work remotely—but really, who would want to work in such a beautiful and relaxing place? Another tiny thing is that the Google Maps pin could be more precise, since we misjudged the location at first and ended up in another yard. But in the end, that’s how we met our lovely elderly neighbors, which only added to the charm of the experience. These are truly minor details and did not affect our overall wonderful stay.
