Pungnam House

I stayed here for one night in September 2026 and had a really good experience. The location is excellent - right next to Gyeonggijeon Shrine and on the outside edge of the hanok village, so you get to be right in that area without it being too noisy. The room met my expectations for what a hanok stay is - small room but very clean and with good AC and ondol (floor heating). No noise issues at night and I slept really well. Most importantly, the owner was super friendly and even let me practice my Korean during check-in. Plus she sent me a message to let me know she'd found my AirPods that I'd accidentally left in my room after check-out so I could come back and get them. I would definitely stay here again.

A cozy, somewhat basic accommodation that gives you exactly what you paid for: a nice place to stay inside the hanok village, in a traditional Korean house. A small breakfast in included and it's very nice to have it in the morning in the garden.

Shower connected to the sink, but I can live with it.
