Macara Lake Park

The hotel is located away from the city, which was exactly what we were looking for. It is peaceful and quiet, although having a car or driver is necessary. I requested a high-floor room with a balcony, and they provided exactly what I asked for. The breakfast was very good with a nice variety of dishes. The best part of our stay was the Guest Relations lady, who was absolutely amazing—very kind, responsive, supportive, and always quick to resolve any issue or request.

The biggest issue was the room temperature. We stayed in mid-October, but the room was extremely hot because the hotel had already switched the central air-conditioning system to winter mode, even though the weather outside was still warm. They provided a fan, but it did not help, so I had to keep the windows open to get some fresh air. The language barrier was also quite exhausting, as English communication was very limited and I had to use a translator for almost every conversation. I also tried the massage and Turkish hammam. The massage was average, around 7/10, and the hammam was okay. However, I paid for one-hour treatments, but both sessions lasted only around 30–35 minutes, which was disappointing.

Everything. The staff are very friendly. Facilities are excellent. Food is great.

The scenic beauty of location was marvelous and our room was spacious and comfortable with beautiful view of the lake.

The attitude of the staff were snobbish. Room service was painfully slow. Apart from reception, no body can communicate in English and generally staff of the hotel didn't' have service oriented attitude. The staff of the hotel were self-absorbed and not interested in helping their customers. The staff were cold and indifferent.
