Perfect stop to break up the journey from Milan to the Loire Valley, especially as it is only 2 kilometres from the motorway, allowing you to sleep in the peaceful setting of a château room, with a large park, the orangery, etc.; an oasis of calm, interrupted only by the gentle sounds of nature. Truly refreshing.
The host, although with some difficulty in English, was more than kind and contributed to what was a relaxing experience worth repeating.
