voco Melbourne Central by IHG

Ideal location, great views, accomodating staff.

The key system with the lifts was a little unclear at first.

The hotel has a lovely design, the location is very convenient, and the mattress is really comfortable.

Our room was located directly opposite the lift, and the soundproofing wasn’t very good. Whenever someone used the lift, the air pressure would cause our door to suddenly move, making a very loud noise.

Gorgeous

Lifts was. Confusing to assess

The location was great. Staff were helpful.

There was hair left in the bath and shower from the previous guests. The bed and bedding were just ok. TV wasn’t working when we got to the room. Took a while for staff to fix as the cables has been pulled out by a previous guest and it was very difficult for the staff to connect again. The view from the bedroom/bathroom wasn’t as good as expected (differed from pictures on booking site), which I understand that happens, but it was pretty much a building wall outside the bedroom sadly. Order a burnt basque cheesecake and it was quite runny but unfortunately.
