We had a fantastic stay in this cottage. The owner has thought of absolutely everything and provided everything you could need from a holiday home. The cottage is perfectly placed for visiting north or south of Scotland. The Black Bull pub next door serves food that is so tasty and the staff are super friendly.I would definitely book this lovely cottage again

Anne's directions had us at Puddingstone Cottage in no time once we reached the village. The cottage was clean, warm and well equipped with numerous books, games and DVD's on all manners of subjects as well as a kitchen with every piece of equipment you would need. The beds were comfortable which is always important with good quality linen. The cottage is situated in a small peaceful village with outstanding views towards the mountains. There is a fabulous community pub with great food just half a minutes walk away which we visited several times. While there is no village shop the nearest is a pretty drive of just three miles. We took supplies with us to save trips to supermarkets. Puddingstone Cottage is situated well with easy access to areas of outstanding beauty. I would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet and peaceful break.

This was the first time we had stayed in this area and Puddingstone Cottage provided us with the perfect location from which to explore. The cottage was warm, cosy and very well equipped with everything we could possibly need.

Stayed for a week. Location was ideal with astunning view from the living room and walks on your doorstep. The pub in the village is really close and offers lovely food and great service. Cannot fault the cottage at all and the owner Anne incredibly helpful and clearly cares and looks after this property very well.
