The hot tub was cold the first day, but we were happy the water was changed during turnover, and it was fine by day 2. The place was great, the location awesome. Guests will want a fire after skiing. Was no firewood on the property; guests should be aware that they will want to pick this up before arriving, as there is no firewood in KH proper. This detail is stated in the welcome book at the property, but was not communicated prior to arrival. All in all a great mountain and great location.

Very comfortable home for a large family. True ski-in which is accessible from the Catamount Chair. During our visit the home had baby gates and some toys, which made our stay so much more relaxing. Easy check-in and check-out. Great communication from host. Would book again.

Everything about this place was perfect for seven adults and an epic ski vacation. The host Derek was incredibly accommodating and helpful when needed. I will definitely look into this place the next time we're in the neighborhood. Hopefully soon, the Canadian Rockies are the most beautiful place we've ever skied.

The place is neat, very confortable and well furnished. We found out upon arriving from Europe that highway 1 was closed between Banff and Golden. What that meant for us was +1.5 hour (+3 if you count the way back) on all the day trips we had planned. Lake Louise for example no longer 1h away but 2.5 hrs. We tried to negotiate 2 days off our 9 day stay to be able to see Banff National Park but our host did not budge. So that was kind of disappointing as we did not do any of the visits we had planned in the end. We would have hoped for more empathy towards faraway travelers.
