There are no check in instructions sent to you, so you have to contact the owner for the code. Ask if the property below is also rented out because the people below us greatly impacted our stay. It is an older beach house that needs some work, but for the price and location it is totally worth it.

Adorable! For anyone that likes a vintage vibe, this place is for you! We granted the upstairs unit. The property sits back off of the roadway, unlike most of the homes on The Strand. It gives a beautiful view and privacy, unlike most properties. There are 2 hot tubs that sit beautifully in position to see the ocean, WITHOUT feeling like you're on display, everytime someone walks by. This would be an excellent place for a family with children or dogs. (The front of the house is enclosed by the building structures and the entryway 1/2 wall.) The yard in front of the house has ample space for little ones to play. There's a pavilion area in the very front, by The Strand. Parking was easy and I especially liked that there was enough space to turn around. The front porch has a table and plenty of chairs to seat several people, comfortably, as well as a grill. The inside is so sweet! The master bedroom is large. The second bedroom has doors that open up to the front porch, facing the ocean. The main entrance opens up in the family room. The small dining room has the old time built in china cabinet wall. The kitchen is a cute as can be. There's even a built in makeup table and chairs outside the bathroom that allowed an additional area for getting ready. The house was very clean. I highly recommend the upstairs unit to anyone that appreciates an era gone by! 10 stars!

The best part of the place was the ocean front view. The place is more run down than pictures show. Kitchen was not fully stocked with cooking items and cups/coffee mugs/wine glasses. The guest bedroom was very warm and muggy with just fans to use. There was no screen on sliding glass door to allow us to open the slider at night for fresh air into the bedroom. The owner/manager was very responsive to our requests for items needed during our stay. Very easy to communicate with. You’re paying for the view and access to the ocean.
