This is such a unique rental. Lots of history available for this property. Our host, Walter was great. His communication and quick responses were well appreciated. Our family of 20 were well accommodated. Furnishings were like stepping back in time well preserved. Plenty of room for the kids to run around outside and the pool wonderful.

We used every in of this unique property. We were able to spread out and relax and enjoy lots of good food and fun. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was superb and came in handy with the hot weather. We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds feed on the vibrant flowers. The only drawback to the house is the kitchen is lacking a dishwasher. Be prepared to wash a few dishes. Since we had 20 women we used disposable plates and cutlery. The house has enough for 10. We wished there was more kitchen pots and pans for all of us. It would have made things easier. The dining table was large and we were able to enjoy our meals together. The living room had comfy couches with an area for games. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this large beautiful ranch.

The stay was perfect for all 9 of us. Very relaxing and quiet. Loved reading about the history of the home.

The house is old, over 100 years old, but in decent shape. It does lean in some areas. The house was not in very clean condition. Lot's of insects and the pool was swarming with bee's while the kids were trying to swim. One kid was stung on the first day. We didn't realize there would be other animals, dogs, cat, and chickens on the property as we brought our two small dogs with us. This wasn't an issue, just not sure of what to expect with the unexpected encounters. The family living on the property and the workers were nice. The rooms were comfortable. While there was a washer and dryer, it is not located within the house.
