We enjoyed our time in this lovely waterfront house located on Snug Harbor! Comfortable beds and furnishings, well-supplied kitchen, great outdoor spaces with view of the harbor and waterfront dock to launch kayaks. A peaceful spot. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Mitchell Bay is a beautifully designed and finished home and property in a gorgeous setting. The home is exceptionally well managed, very clean, private, and one of the best equipped vacation rentals I have ever rented. Additionally, the home is central to most things the island has to offer, which is a lot. Communication with the property manager was also excellent. One issue for me, and this may be more about my reading comprehension than the host posting, was I believed the property to have 2 full baths and 1/2 bath which it does, however, the 2nd full bath is not in the house; rather, it is located in the host's detached garage, which is briefly uphill from the house. While a nice full bathroom, it was not that accessible for us, so we never used it. While my understanding was not clear it worked out fine because there were only two of us, and it was easy to alternate turns with the shower located in the house. Other than maybe needing more clarity in the posting, this was an absolutely wonderful stay with great morning and/or evening runs/walks up and down the heavily wooded roads to the house. A true pleasure.

The house was beautiful! Everything we needed was there. Check in was easy and communication was great. We enjoyed the suggestions for things to do. Thanks for making our family trip so memorable.

The house is one of the best we have ever rented. The location, the design, the kitchen was so set up with so many extras you don’t typically get - from spices to every kind of glass for any kind of drink, every kind of cookware, large set of dishes and utensils, anything to really cook and clean up with ease. Two fireplaces one with real wood and a log lighter for ease, the other gas. Everything we wanted to spend time with family - open layout to cook, converse, eat, watch tv all in one space. Beautiful area to walk, close to town. Just can’t say enough how comfortable and easy of a stay it was. Truly gave us the downtime we were all looking for. We went during winter and look forward to a summer stay and utilizing the kayaks and walks on the beach!
