We had a wonderful weeklong trip with family. The views were what sold me and didn’t disappoint! Sunsets every night were beautiful. Very well stocked (trash bags, dish pods) and pet friendly. Walkable to the sound beach at Jockeys Ridge. Close to shops and restaurants. Beds are all very comfortable! Plenty of things to do at the house: bikes, cornhole, games. There was one hiccup with lock on back storm glass door getting stuck but the owners had it fixed same day. Wasn’t a huge issue for us. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

Ann and Mike's place is great, they supply everything! We loved the neighborhood as well, we met a lot of people while walking our dog and running. It's less than 10 minutes to Jockey's Ridge, we went for multiple hikes and kite flying. It's about 3/4 of a mile over to the ocean side where we ran on a beach that we felt like we owned! We visited the Wright Memorial, we spent the majority of a morning there. We also went to Roanoke Island visitor center, lots of History about the area there. On Roanoke Island is Manteo and Wanchese where we got a lot of fresh seafood at O'Neill's fish market , highly recommended. We played pickleball at nearby Dowdy park many times and went to the Winter market there as well. We did a art gallery store tour, probably about 10 different art type stores in the area. We also drove North and spent some time in Duck. We enjoyed the Outer Banks Brewing Station in Kill Devil Hills. We drove south a bit and visited Pea Island the stopped at the Oregon Inlet Lifesaving Station with amazing views of the water and also stopped at Bodie Island lighthouse. Incredible stay!

We love this home and the beautiful sunsets. Perfect location and quiet area. Close to fishing for my husband and a great place for morning walks. Highly recommend this home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We have been coming to OBX for several years and this home is the nicest home by far that we have stayed in. It is so clean, homey, and comfortable. So many well thought out details like light blocking curtains in the kids’ bunk room! The sunsets were unbelievable from the house or jockey’s ridge beach just a short walk/bike away. Pro tip: if you bike to the beach for sunset you will have the beach to yourself because the cars have to leave by 7pm. We’re already looking forward to next year!
