Located in desirable Poipu, this inviting, bright and sunny 2-level island home greets you with panoramic views of the brilliant blue ocean. Hardwood floors and high vaulted ceilings give Poipu Ocean Vista an open and airy feeling. Once you step into this attractive home, you will know you are truly in a tropical paradise. Enjoy the stunning ocean views and colorful sunsets from one of two private, covered lanai's. You might even see humpback whales spouting or breaching. (Seasonal from November to March). The Master bedroom has a King bed with an ocean view, as well as a pull out couch that turns into a full bed. For added privacy, the room can be separated by Shoji dividing sliders. Additionally, there is a smart TV and a fun hanging swing. The adjoining bath has a unique round Japanese soaking tub. The second bedroom hosts a king bed, 18 foot vaulted ceiling, small garden atrium, air conditioning, smart TV, beautiful furnishings, and an adjoining bathroom.
From here, you are in close proximity to some of the islands best visitor attractions, as well as restaurants, bars, and shopping. Brenneckes and Poipu Beaches are within a 5 minute walk. These beaches are a favorite resting place for endangered Sea Turtles and Monk Seals. Grab beach chairs and beach towels to enjoy a day at the beach. The Poipu Bay Golf Club, home of the PGA grand slam 1994 - 2006 is a close 5 minute drive. Store your clubs in the fully enclosed garage.
The South Side of Kauai offers golf, surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, boat cruises, horseback riding, ATV tours, zip lines, hiking, beaching, or an island luau. A wonderful rental—really has everything you need and the local beaches are in easy walking distance. Poipu is a very sweet town and it’s a good location for families with teens/young children as they can get around easily. Some beautiful hikes within close distance (the Heritage Trail was amazing) as well as easy local plazas with restaurants and cafes. Diving and snorkeling is also on this side of the island and is incredible. Turtles swim right up onto the beaches and are easy to find. Seasport Divers were excellent. It is good to know that this side is a bit more condo-focussed/touristy, whereas North Shore has a more local vibe. Either way, great place to stay and highly recommended.

The house was comfortable and easy to find. Parking in the garage is amazing. There was several days that it was raining and when you parked in the garage you could unload from the day.

This is a nice home with an ocean view in a great location. I won’t stay at another property managed by this company. We arrived 40 minutes early and needed to wait until check in which was not a problem. We parked across the street and waited. Ten minutes later the cleaners showed up and were gone within 20 minutes. I walked into the downstairs bathroom to find a dead cockroach on the bathroom counter and a dead baby lizard on the floor. Upstairs in the bathroom there was hair on the floor. We pulled a pan out to cook dinner and there was a horrible odor because there was a cooked on piece of what smelled like rotten fish on the bottom of it. I took one of their plastic water containers to the beach which smelled like old fruit juice. The pillowcases upstairs were terribly stained and I couldn’t find any other ones to use. It felt like 150 degrees when we walked in since the AC had just been turned on 25 minutes earlier. I literally could go on and on. If I had paid a cleaning fee I would ask to be refund because this home was not clean when we arrived. Very disappointing.
