Lovely cottage right by the sea, nicely furnished, Carol has thought of everything, a home from home. Some nice Scottish treats await your arrival. Clean and comfortable. Bigger than the photos make it look. We had a peaceful week.

Fantastic location, right next to the beach

Out of the door and within a few steps on the beautiful beach at Rosemarkie - what more could you want? If you also want a comfortable, peaceful, well-equipped property to stay in, then we can highly recommend ‘The Boathouse’.The light filled open-plan lounge/dining/kitchen is a very relaxing place to be with views across to the beach to the green headland. If you are awake at 4am then the sunrise is stunning! A comfortable bed, plenty of storage space, and copious amounts of hot water to fill the large bath. The local walks are delightful, plus castles, historic houses, gardens all within easy driving distance. Overall a 5* experience! Our thanks to Carol for letting us stay in her lovely property and for fast friendly communication.
