Relax on the beautiful Danube in the heart of Lower Bavaria.
Here you’ll find peace and relaxation in a unique setting. From the vacation home, you can reach destinations in the Bavarian Forest and the Danube cities of Regensburg, Straubing, Deggendorf, and Passau within an hour by car.
The landscape, rich in water and forests, also offers plenty of recreational activities for cyclists (e.g., the Danube Cycle Path, Isar Cycle Path), hikers (Arber, Bavarian Forest National Park, etc.), and anglers (waterways—including the Danube—are within walking distance; fishing permits can be purchased locally) plenty of recreational activities.
For families, various attractions (the St. Englmar toboggan run and treetop trail, Bayernpark, Edelwies Amusement Park, the Arber Bodenmais Silver Mine, the Neuschönau treetop trail, the Bavarian Forest National Park Nature and Wildlife Park, etc.) offer a variety of recreational activities.
In winter, too, various winter sports areas are within easy reach.
