Hi there, welcome to the Blaue Huis in Westerländer Waldwinkel. You haven’t discovered this part of Sylt yet? No wonder: This island retreat, with two rooms for four people, is wonderfully tucked away right next to a small wooded area in the north of the island’s capital. It’s far enough from downtown to be very quiet, yet central enough that Westerland and Wenningstedt are within walking distance, and the bus stops nearby as well. The Nordseeklinik is nearby, and so, of course, is the beach—which the islanders particularly love because it’s not quite as bustling, yet still not deserted. You’ll also find a charming and well-stocked little supermarket right around the corner. The apartment, located on the upper floor of a two-family home, is bright and furnished with an eye for detail and clean lines.
