Great location. Very attractive property, well laid out for our group of 8. Excellent frontage on lake with views from cottage. Large Family/living room with TV. Large dining room with seating for 10. Very clean and good AC on even the warmest of Keuka lake days. Good access with few stairs. Kitchen well appointed with modern appliances. Large yard for playing around and a nice firepit as well as an area to easily launch kayaks. The outside patio area was fantastic. All and all, we had a great time here. Given the overall appearance and quality of the property, there were a few things that detracted from the 5 star vibe. First, virtually all the boards on the deck out to the lake were warped at the ends, leading to a teeter/totter effect and a tripping hazard. Fortunately, we were all very careful and had no accidents, despite a few near misses. It did cause us to limit the use of the dock. There was also a slight, but noticeable tilt to the dining room from the couch to the outside patio. It posed a bit of a concern for a couple of our mobility challenged members, but once recognized, it posed no serious problems. Overall, we were very happy with our week at the property and the overall cleanliness and upgrades in the cottage that made it very enjoyable.

This was our second time coming back to Birchwood Cottage, and it was even better than the first! We spent so much of our time on the covered patio, and we loved the updates to the basement to make it a bedroom. Drew was very easy to get in contact with and handled any of our concerns right away. We hope to be back again!

A great place for our multi-generational family vacation. Has a large, flat lot with lots of space, including a dock for fishing. We especially loved the large covered porch area and fire pit. The kitchen was well equipped and the views were absolutely beautiful.

The house was as expected and you really couldn’t beat the view. The water was great and clear with almost no seaweed. I could have stayed all summer!
