This newly constructed house oozes style and charm in the woods with protected land behind. Central family location for beach walks, hikes through the forest preserve, farmers' markets, bike rides on the new bike lane, blueberry picking, and firepit gatherings. This house is perfect for family vacations and holiday gatherings. There are many restaurants and breweries within a ten-minute drive, and the train station is fifteen minutes away.
Chef's kitchen with Viking range, open floor plan with gorgeous windows and views onto the nature preserve. Multiple outdoor spaces: a huge screened-in porch with dining for 12, firepit, back patio, screened-in shala and deck off the master bedroom, outdoor shower that is open to the sky. One ensuite bedroom on the first floor with a Japanese soaking tub and open rainforest shower; second floor has two huge sunny elegant bedrooms, both with king beds, and a spacious luxury bathroom with a sit-in steam shower. The laundry/mud room connects to the outdoor shower to wash off sand from the beach - a ten minute walk down Harbert Road! It's quiet, elegant, and a place you'll want to return to again and again.

This is a great space for a large family. We were 6 adults and 6 kids and had plenty of room. Really liked the open kitchen/ living room area. The house is well sound-proofed from outside noise. It had all the comforts of home with a well-stocked kitchen. Those that used the steam shower upstairs loved it. We were a ten minute drive to Warren Dunes and 15” to New Buffalo and Oinks ice cream shop. We didn’t use the enclosed porch as much as we thought we would mostly due to weather. If you plan on sleeping in the basement, be prepared because it is quite chilly down there. Would have liked curtains or blinds on the doors in the one bedroom upstairs that led to the porch but the kids still slept okay. Would definitely stay again.

This is a gorgeous home and every detail is perfectly curated. Close to Cherry beach and Warren dunes, The Swedish Bakery, terrific antique shops and, of course, the Stray Dog and all New Buffalo’s finest, you cannot find a better VRBO experience. The hosts were always available. We will be back!

Beautiful house, and so comfortable! Loved the ability to relax on the screened in porch with a cup of coffee, or make s’mores outside. Close drive to the beach and peaceful woods made it a dream.
