Refreshing, family friendly

Really neat cabin! Kids thought the bunkhouse was the coolest thing! Only regret is that we couldn't stay and enjoy longer!

Host was fast to respond, property was quiet and peaceful after days of exploring. Property was clean and comfy! Would definitely stay here again if we ever make it back!

Communication was friendly and easy throughout our stay, and the hosts were responsive and welcoming.A few things future guests may want to know: the property uses well water, which we didn’t realize until after arrival when we noticed a sulfur-like smell. While we purchase bottled water for drinking and cooking, It would have been helpful to know this in advance, especially since nearby stores were closing on our first evening. If you’re visiting during the summer, keep in mind there is no air conditioning. The house receives a lot of direct sunlight and can become quite warm. The kitchen was very well stocked with cookware, dishes, a coffee maker & filters, salt, pepper, and a variety of cooking essentials. Guests who use sugar should bring their own. We also encountered a couple of persistent wasps around the outdoor seating and cooking area, which made it harder to fully enjoy meals outside. Given the wooded setting, adding wasp traps could improve the experience.Amenities included Wi-Fi, an Amazon Fire TV, ample sleeping space, lots of outdoor seating, heater, and a charming bunkhouse that would be great for kids or larger groups. The home also had heat, cozy blankets, basic first-aid, board games, and bug spray. From the way the space is equity it is clear the owners care about the space and use it themselves with their family. Overall, I would recommend a stay during cooler months.
